The 2026 Season is just around the corner with the Hall of Fame game posted for August 6th, where the Arizona Cardinals go up against the Carolina Panthers. High Praise out of training camp for Rookie running back Jeremiah Love where he will suite up for the Arizona Cardinals as he goes up against a young, promising Carolina Panther’s defense. While we won’t see a ton of the starters in this matchup, its a great way to end the drought of entertaining sports as the World Cup has just come to an end with Spain lifting the trophy.

No better way to build the excitement of upcoming NFL season other than analyzing this upcoming season’s Super Bowl favorites. Last years Super Bowl gave us a pretty big snooze fest as the New England Patriots had little to no answer for the Seattle Seahawks tenacious defense and Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker, who was let go in free agency to the Kansas City Chiefs. With a final score of 29-13, the Seattle Seahawks and second year head coach, Mike Macdonald, hoisted up the Lombardi Trophy for the second time in team history dating back to the 2014 win with Pete Carroll. But enough of last year. Lets dive in to this years Super Bowl favorites.

1.RAMS (+550)

The Los Angeles Rams come in as the clear front runner for this years Super Bowl, especially after acquiring Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns. After falling short against Super Bowl Winning Seattle Seahawks, Sean McVay and their front office have put themselves in a position to lift up the trophy come next season. With last years regular season MVP in Stafford, top tier receivers Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, and the addition of Garrett, this team has all the tools to win it. With McVay’s creative offense and Chris Shula’s leadership on defense, its hard to see this team fall short in the NFC. Nothing really else to say, this team is full of talent and has a chip on their shoulder to overcome last years shortcomings.

2.Buffalo Bills (+1000)

The Buffalo Bills come in at #2 here as they have arguably one of the most versatile Quarterbacks in the NFL with Josh Allen and made some significant changes on both sides of the ball in the offseason adding, Vertical threat, DJ Moore and edge rusher, Bradley Chubb, who was the team leader in sacks for the Dolphins a season ago. Josh Allen gets his first true #1 receiver and some strong additions on the defensive side where the Bills have struggled in the postseason slowing teams down on the defensive side of the ball. With former Offensive Coordinator, Joe Brady, moving to head coach after Sean Mcdermott was let go after the heartbreaking loss to the Denver Broncos, I expect some changes that will have them motivated and hungry for a run and Josh Allen with somewhat of a big name at wideout, things may get interesting for Bills this year as they are the favorites to come out the AFC.

3.Chiefs(+1600)

This is a big toss up but #3 seems right. I have read reports that Patrick Mahomes admitted that this past years injury is likely to linger the rest of his career. That is not ideal with how the offensive line has looked the last few years but this team is still insanely talented and it’s hard to go against, cheeseburger loving, Andy Reid. The defense is what held down the fort last year and with the addition of Kenneth Walker, the Chiefs could have an established run game, which they have lacked for the last two years with Isiah Pacheco. A full year with Rashee Rice, established run game and Chris Jones leading the defense, I hate to say it but this team is going to be right in the mix to win the AFC. I still like the chances of the NFC to repeat but going to be hard to beat this chiefs team come playoff time.

4.Seahawks(+1100)

Can the Seahawks repeat as Champions? I sure as hell think so. Losing Kenneth Walker in free agency hurts but they snagged Emmanuel Wilson from the Packers where he got to showcase a full games workload against one of last years top tier run defenses in the Vikings, where he had 28 carries, 101 yards and 2 TD’s. He will be a crucial piece during the regular season as Zach Charbonnet will most likely be out at the beginning of the year. Now while the run game was a big component to the Seahawk’s Super Bowl run, we can’t forget about the stellar regular season and postseason Jaxon Smith-Njigba had for them. He was by far the best receiver last year and I don’t see him slowing down. Now while he probably won’t repeat what he did last year, he still is the best route runner in the NFL and you can try to double team him but that won’t help as the Seahawks resigned Rasheed Shaheed to a 3 year extension after acquiring him from the Saints in a trade at the deadline. With his vertical abilities and opening up the pass game, he can take off some of the slack for JSN next year. And don’t let me forget about that defense Mike Macdonald had cooking. They made Drake Maye looking like a lost child in the local mall in the Super Bowl. They brought most of their core back from last year and with Mike Macdonald’s scheme he easily can repeat that performance for this year.

5.Ravens(+1000)

I know most people’s first thought when they read this section is going to be, this is too high, Kam is overhyping his team. Well, I’m not. Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Zay Flowers, and… Trey Hendrickson. The edge rusher this team has been missing ever since T-Sizzle (Terrell Suggs) retired. The big offseason changes with our coaching staff are the reason I believe this team has a real shot at winning the Super Bowl. Jesse Minter has been in the system before under Harbaugh and what he did with that Chargers defense last year was incredible. Brought them from a bottom tier defense and developed a top 5 defense last year under Jim Harbaugh, which shows he knows how develop over time. Him also bringing Declan Doyle from the Bears is another reason I think we are in for a treat with this Ravens offense. Roll outs, misdirections, you name it and he was working under Ben Johnson who is regarded as one of the best offensive minds in the game today. Who knows maybe I am riding a high on this team but we still have to remember Derrick Henry is still one of the hardest running backs to tackle in this league and a QB that can extend plays like no other. The bias is there but who cares. Go Ravens.

Overall, its great to see NFL Football is right around the corner. This rookie class is insane and another offseason with big coaching changes which makes each year of being a football fan that much more exciting. With a little over a week left of no football, its time to crank up the fantasy talks, arguments between fans and start up those RedZone subscriptions because the long wait from February is finally over.
